Baby Gift Shopping – Hollywood Style
Posted by: | CommentsBaby Gift Shopping – Hollywood Style
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 14, 2005
Another birth announcement has just arrived and the stressful adventure of finding the next great baby gift begins. All your friends, family and co-workers are having children, but searching for unique items has become a Herculean task. You want to give the most special present, but you have noticed that the selection out there is limited. Relief is on the way, with an unbelievable assortment of great products in one place, BlissLiving.com is making baby gifting a blissful experience.
Owner, Cora Lee has created a site that features baby shopping, LA boutique style. You will not see any mainstream toys on this Website. Lee carries only the most exclusive items and products that have not been mass-produced like a handcrafted vintage music box, award-winning baby blankets and personalized baby art.
Lee, who previously worked for a company that made childrenÂ?s products, stumbled upon the idea for Bliss Living while her sister was pregnant. As an Angelino, she was constantly exposed to the latest trends in baby gear and always found one of a kind presents. Everyone admired her gifts and Lee soon realized that a lot of parents outside of the big cities do not have a convenient location offering the trendiest merchandise in the market. Lee decided to bring LAÂ?s baby style to the whole of the country, and the rest is history.
The personalized section of this Website adds individuality to each gift. Lee has a full-time designer on hand who is able to personalize each item to make it your own. Most of the monograms are included in the price. They make a Bliss Living baby t-shirt and onesie a perfect shower gift.
Looking to add to your collection of MonetÂ?s and PicassoÂ?s? Well go no further, baby art is your next must have piece. The baby artwork section on this site features nursery paintings that every tot in town will want. The Â?My Name isÂ? canvas rates among the most popular items. Available in a version for both girls and boys, it can also be painted with your childÂ?s name. This is literally a hands-on gallery where the pieces are child friendly and can be washed so that kids can touch them. Some of the U.S.’s most noted celebrities have Bliss Living’s artwork hanging in their babyÂ?s nurseries and childrenÂ?s playrooms, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Courtney Cox.
There is no need to sneak a peak at the style section of Us Weekly, People or The Star to see what the celebs are shopping for; Lee has set up a Â?Celebrity FavoritesÂ? section to keep you up to the moment. She know just what the Hollywood moms are buying and keeps her customers in the loop with the must-have items.
Look for the nurseries section to soon be expanding. It already has a great selection of wall décor, growth charts and rugs, but she will be adding nursery bedding, furniture, baby art, more gifts and décor in the near future. Keep checking back for more exclusive products.
Bliss living is truly a boutique for fabulous babies.

Can?t Afford Nice Things for Your Infant? Think Outside the Baby Mega-store Box
Posted by: | CommentsCan’t Afford Nice Things for Your Infant? Think Outside the Baby Mega-store Box
Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) July 5, 2006
For many low to medium income families, providing for their newborn and toddlers can be a major source of anxiety and financial strain. Browsing the prices at your local baby store can easily drive a shopper into sticker shock. Fortunately, there is a viable alternative. The garage sale.
According to the owners of http://www.YardHopper.com one of the most common items you will find at a garage sale is baby stuff. They say about 4 out of 10 sales posted on their website offer items for newborns and toddlers. In some cases, many of these items are almost brand new!.
There are a few reasons for this. Not only do infants grow really fast and grow out of their clothing, carriers and high chairs, but also, when a family is expecting their first child, they go to their local BabiesRUs and register for a bunch of stuff they THINK they will need. The fact is, the only things they really need are diapers, burping cloths, onesies, and a diaper genie. That is pretty much all they need. They end up with swings, bouncy chairs, boppys, Baby-Bjorns and many other items that they and/or their child may use once and shortly thereafter it begins collecting dust. Enter the garage sale. A brand new baby bjorn can cost as much as $ 120.00. Finding s slightly used one at a garage sale for $ 30.00 would be a steal. Buying toys at a baby mega-store can cost a lot. Often times, infants play with a toy once and then shove it aside. These are great finds at a garage sale. The point is, there are great deals to be had on relatively new items.
When shopping for infant products at a garage sale, use caution. Buying from a garage sale comes with a few risks. It is no secret that babies spit up and use the bathroom quite often. It is very important to wash and/or sterilize just about any item that you purchase from a garage sale. Many baby safety products (car seats, swings, chairs, etc…) are regularly upgraded and improved upon for safety regulations. If purchasign a car seat that was manufactured 5 years ago, it may not be equipped with the most recent safety technology. Another thing to watch out for are items that have been recalled. Infant products are recalled every day. To determine if an item has been recalled, visit the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commision at http://www.cpsc.gov .
In closing, providing for a newborn or toddler does not always have to break the bank. Garage sales offer a great alternative to the inflated prices of most baby mega-stores. With the proper caution and selection, there are great items to be found for newborns.

Free Baby Stuff For Expecting Mothers – All The Things Your Baby Is Going To Need
Posted by: | CommentsA new baby is a pretty exciting thing to look forward to and it is imperative to have all the things that the baby needs so that your baby is well taken care of and that the baby has everything that it needs. There are basic things that every baby needs and that you as a mom should provide, especially for the first 3 months of your baby’s life.
Here is a list of some of the things that are a must have for every baby:
Clothes – Everybody needs clothes and that includes babies. Babies clothes are changed a couple of times in a given day because they mess themselves up quite a lot so you need to buy clothes that are comfortable but also clothes that will be quick to be changed to make it easier for you and the baby.
Diapers – this is one of the most obvious ones, because diaper changes for a baby can run up to 10 times in a day. You need plenty of these and they need to be comfortable for the baby. You will also need wipes and the lotion that you must apply after every diaper change so that your baby does not develop any rash.
Baby Gear – These include strollers, a crib for the baby as well as a car seat for the trip from the hospital and the trips to the clinic. This can be quite pricey but they are necessary for the baby to have, and they will make life easier for you.
Feeding Accessories – most new moms will want to breastfeed their babies, but for instances where the mom has to go to work or is away from the baby, you might consider making formula for the baby, in which case you are going to need bibs, breast pump, bottles to feed the baby with as well as nipples.
Bathing Accessories – when it comes to bathing, your newborn will need hooded towels, baby soaps, baby lotions as well as a baby tub
There are other things that you might consider getting such as baby nail clipper as well as baby monitors. There are others that you might want to look into but these cover the bulk of the basics that you need.
As you can see from this list, this can amount to a lot of money, and that is the reason why you should consider free baby stuff for expecting mothers.
Free baby stuff for expecting mothers can be found at online stores or from companies that make baby products. Click here and get some baby clothes for free.

Two Times The Fun, Twins and Triplets Survey
Posted by: | CommentsTwo Times The Fun, Twins and Triplets Survey
London, UK (PRWEB) July 13, 2006
In celebration of ‘Twins, Triplets and More Week’ (3-9 July 2006) The Baby Show conducted their own online survey, asking visitors to http://www.thebabyshow.co.uk their thoughts on having more than one child and dealing with multiple births.
The results showed that most parents or parents to be visiting the site would like to have more than one child, with a staggering 74% responding positively when asked if they would like to have twins or triplets.
The reasons for this overwhelmingly positive response varied, and the largest proportion of those who said yes, which was 32%, said that they would love it because ‘it would be so much fun’. 16% of entrants thought it was a good idea to have more than one child at the same time in order to ‘get pregnancy and rearing of small children out of the way.’
Another positive factor for 11% of respondents was the ‘bond and lifelong companion’ which twins or multiples gain by having each other as a sibling. This bond was considered to be of greater importance than the fact that multiples ‘can amuse each other and play together,’ though. Luckily, nobody thought that a good reason to want twins was because ‘they are so sweet,’ and because ‘they could have matching outfits.’ 5% of entrants already had twins or triplets and said that they ‘loved it.’
On the whole, The Baby Show Twins and Triplets survey uncovered that multiple births are a thing to be desired, no matter what the reasons.
Negative responses were few, at 26%, and unsurprisingly, the reasons for these answers were focused upon the financial drain, the stress placed on a relationship and how much baby stuff you would have to buy!
Despite the negative factors offered as options, people on the whole still said that they wanted twins or triplets.
This could be because respondents were all aware that The Baby Show is out there to help and is the place to find all the information you need, as well as everything for your baby. The great deals on 100’s of nursery essentials and the chance to compare them all under one roof mean that even when you have to buy double or triple the equipment, the savings are still fantastic! Tamba (The Twins and Multiple Births Association) will be at The Baby Show, which is held 20-22 October 2006 at Earls Court, and will be on hand to give advice on how to cope with multiple births. The Baby Show is the biggest and best live event for the baby and toddler industry and having been designed for parents of small children and those expecting, is a fantastic day out for all the family.
Tamba, the organisers of ‘Twins, Triplets and More Week’ are running their own survey, on how having multiple births affects the relationship between mum and dad. If you have twins, triplets or more and want to take part, please go to http://www.tamba.org.uk

Look For Free Baby Stuff But With Care
Posted by: | CommentsWholesalers and manufacturers regularly offer free stuff for babies as samples to advance their business level. If you know from where and how to contact them, than you can apply for free baby stuff to trim down the lumber on your pocket at the time of birth of new baby. More often than not when you visit an internet site to send a request for free stuff and come across a survey or make a purchase first to avail any offer. When you will be optimizing you’ll stumble upon these types of situations many times.
To take delivery of totally free stuff for babies, you do not have to provide them with extra information other than your name, email, and mailing address. If you are asked to provide your personal information like your credit card number, never go with such sites as there are a lot of scam sites which can use your personal information for evil purposes. Moreover, genuine sites never ask for such personal information as they have nothing to do with this information.
While using the internet, you should be very careful as you will never be willing to be the next pray of the scammers always hungry to ransack the innocent internet users. While applying for free baby samples, do not trust the sites with insufficient contact information or containing extra ordinary bonuses. Another way to identify bogus offers is that these sites engage the users to a never ending navigation from one page to the other and ultimately leading to a form asking the user to provide his personal information.
In spite of wandering among the pages, just search for the company you know well and log on to their website. This is the best way to find genuine offers without fearing of being ripped off. You can make use of any popular search engine like google for this purpose. One you reach the site of your know company, you can discover the current free baby stuff offers.
Still if you feel that you are unable to distinguish between the real and fake offers, you should have an additional email address before registering for free stuff for babies. This strategy helps you to keep the scammers at arm’s length as they will not be able to access your personal information through this alternate email address. On the other hand, superior companies fully follow the conduct and do not share your email with any other companies and keep your identity hidden from other companies.
Another great advantage of keeping a second email address is that your inbox is not rushed off your feet with “thank you for sending the request for our free baby stuff!” mails. Sometimes you find certain advertisements on different sides and unwilling click on these sites. Certain spywares come to action and they get their email address and start sending you spam emails. Though finding such free baby stuff offers in your mailbox is a great sensation but you should always remember that there are many more to add fuel to fire and leave nothing for you except to cry over spilt milk.
